Where to enjoy sounds of the Shamisen
 
In Kabuki and other traditional performance theaters: for Kabuki play, Japanese dance and concerts.
KOKURITSU GEKIJYO(National Theater of Japan, Kabuki-za, Minami-za, Shinbashi Enbu jyo
and much more)
 
In sitting comedy theaters:played as an entertainers come and off to a stage, also played as entertainment.(Asakusa Engeijyo, Suzumoto Engeijyo, Ikebukuro Engeijyo and much more)
 
On radio and TV:which features traditional music, players or entertainment. Or to give some Japanese atmosphere.(Many NHK TV or radio programs.)link to NHK(http://www.nhk.or.jp).
 
As you walk down a small street:there're still so many Shamisens are played in peoples house like Shamisen learners houses, dance teachers', Geisha houses...and in my little classroom!
